This is Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge. This is the nation's pride and joy when it comes to wildlife preservation as vast varieties of wildlife gather here year after year. Stop by the headquarters this summer and find out how you can get a bird's eye view of the refuge and the area surround it. Take the family on a peaceful drive through nature on the Wilderness Drive. Starting at headquarters on Marshall County 7, east of Holt, Wilderness Drive takes you deep into the refuge where you can find multitudes of waterfowl and other creatures of the wilderness. While at the refuge, check out our observation deck. From this deck, using our special viewing scope, you can see for miles, the vast acres of wildlife that the refuge is home to.
